History
1964 : Maurice Paquette, spraying his vines near to Neuchâtal (Switzerland) comes up with the ingenious idea of combining pressure with water and soap.
The high-pressure washing concept, Hypromat, is born....

- Creation of the concept of high-pressure washing by Hypromat in Switzerland
- 1973 :
- First car wash, in Besançon, set up by Hypromat France
- 1987 :
- Hypromat franchises its concept under the brand Éléphant Bleu
- 2001 :
- The international head office of the group is set up near to Strasbourg
- 2002 :
- Creation of the brand Hybis (distribution of spare parts and consumables, after-sales services, car wash renovations…)
- 2008 :
- Launch of the new concept Evolution
- 2009 :
- Launch of automatic washing in the Evolution range
- 2011 :
- Launch of the compact car wash in the Evolution range
